Chapter 5
Kenji rarely cursed. He cursed a blue streak. He rushed to the hardware store and bought several large tarps and a supply of nails. He used his extension ladder to climb to his two-story roof, something that bothered him, but it needed to be done. He focused on staying on the ladder and roof versus falling, a main reason people often fall: focusing on what they don’t want instead of what they do want.
It took a while with the wind and rain, but he got the entire roof covered with tarps. First thing Monday, he’d call the homeowners’ association and find out what was going on.
