Finally, I came home from that hell. He didn't give me much work today, but asked me to read the previous files, and what I learnt is he is a big big business man who does business with diamonds. Did you hear? Diamonds, yeah the stone that shine and are every woman's best friend. He does import and export business all over the world. That's why he is this much arrogant and proud of his money. Why should I think about him? I will work for one year and then bang I am free.
I took bath and cooked my dinner and had it. Finally, I reached heaven, my bed. There is no place in the world which can give you peace more than a bed. I covered myself with duvet fully because it's so cold here. In South India, the temperature is different, and here it is more cool. I prayed God and drifted into deep sleep.
I heard an annoying sound, trying to wake me, but I didn't open my eyes and sleep. Again, I heard that annoying sound. This time, I woke up and saw it was my mobile ringing. I took my mobile and pressed green button without seeing the name.
"Hello!" I said in a sleepy voice still closing my eyes.
"Why the hell are you not picking my call?" someone shouted from the other side.
"Who are you?" I asked him still on bed.
"Jay!" he said.
" Jay, who ?" I asked.
"Your boss, you i***t," he said, and I sat on the bed with a jolt.
"Eppa enakku athuku phone pannuran(why is he calling me now). Ayyoo innum avan line la than irukan you i***t (he is still on line you i***t)" I scolded myself for talking to myself.
"What?" he roared.
"Nothing sir, why did you call me?" I asked.
"Where's that green file? The one I gave you yesterday to study," he asked me. I can hear some sounds like he is shuffling things to search it.
"Sir I kept it---" ayyoo I brought it with me. You forgetful girl how many times you forgot things.
"Sir...." I called him.
"Tell me where is it?" he asked.
"It's.... it's with me sir," I told him and closed my eyes preparing myself for the scoldings rain.
"You i***t!! How can you take that file with you? I want that file right now," he shouted at me. I looked at time, and it is 5 in the morning.
"Sir but how?" he cut me off.
"Tell me your address. I will come and take my file," he said to me angrily. I told him my address, and he cut the call not before scolding me for my mistake.
Now my sleep got disturbed, and I can't get my sleep back. I want to kill you, Jay Verma.
I went to washroom to do my daily business, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. I walked to kitchen to make tea for myself.
I kept the water to boil on the stove and I heard the doorbell ringing. I think that beast came. Breathe in breathe out arushi, be strong.
I went and opened the door and looked at that 6 feet man.
"Good morning sir," you stupid this is not his office to tell him good morning.
"Come in sir," I said, making way to allow him to come inside. He came inside, and I asked him to sit but he stood crossing his hands across his chest.
"Give me the file," he asked me, and I quickly ran to my bedroom and took the file and came to hall quickly.
"Here!" I gave him, and he turned to go, but stopped and turned towards me.
"Make some coffee for me," he said, correction he ordered me.
"Why on the earth should I make coffee for you?" I asked him angrily.
"Because I am your boss, and you should obey my orders" he said to me.
"What if I don't make?" I asked him smirking.
"You don't have any other option rather than work in my company so go and bring me some coffee," he ordered me.
I don't have any option than prepare a cup of coffee, so I went to kitchen.
"Unaku coffee thana venum iru iru naan unaku visham tharean adhuyum arushi style la(you want coffee na I will give poison to you that too in arushi style)" I mixed two table spoons of salt in it instead of sugar and mixed it well. I quickly made a victory dance and went to hall.
I took coffee for him and gave him the cup and watched the fun. He took a sip and bang I thought he will spit it, but instead of doing it he looked at me with red eyes making me gulp. Oh arushi now you are gone girl.
He stood up and looked at me and came near me. Will he throw coffee on me kaduvale?
In a second, he came infront of me and yanked my hair and forcefully made me drink that hot coffee. My throat is burning and that salt added more burn. I tried my best to get away from his grip, but he pulled my hair and made me drink. I coughed vigorously but he didn't stop and made me drink it fully till the last drop.
"Dare you do this again, and I will show you the worst" he threatened and left.
I fell on ground with a thud and tears were flowing down my cheeks. I know I did this, but I didn't expect him to be this cruel. I went to kitchen and took some honey and applied it to my tongue for some relief.
"How can someone be this much cruel!?" I wondered.
Later, I went to office and checked whether he is at office or not. Fortunately, he is not at office. I asked one of the employee, and she said that beast went out of station for some work. Thank God he is not at office, and I can work peacefully today. I went to my office and saw piles of files on my desk. There was a sticky note that read:
'Don't think you can take rest. You have to make a report of these files till I return'
Doesn't he have any other work rather than make my life a living hell? I cursed him and started my work. I don't know when he will return, so I have to complete it as soon as possible.
