Mated to The Player

No, no, no, stop chasing me. I ran through the forest fast hearing Jordan chase after me. I'm faster and the chances of him catching me are slim but I can't exactly head back home, I'd run right into him. I shifted into my wolf my white and black fur covering my body. My fur color is rare but since my mom is a half shifter and my father is an Alpha my siblings and I got mixed fur. Taking a sharp turn left I headed down the edge of the boundary planning on running around till I hit the entrance to my house. Jordan Wilson was the typical f**k boy that all the girls drooled over. I’m personally not impressed, sure he’s attractive and charming and smart, I’m getting off-topic here, but no matter who he is or what he looks like I don’t want a mate plain and simple. I ran through the woods slowing when I saw mint growing in a garden. Mint is a scent hider so he’ll lose my trail, I don’t want him following me home. Laying down I rolled in the leaves my sent fading from the air. I got up trotting to a lake at the border laying down to drink.  Why are you running from our mate? Eva, my wolf, whined making my eyes roll. Because I don't want a mate and you know why. Now leave me alone. I rolled over on my back my paws in the air as I looked up at the sky. I don’t come here as much as I used to. Dad showed me this place, he used to bring me here as a little girl and tell me stories as we stared up at the sky. I counted the stars quietly before hearing a snap a few yards away. I hopped up quickly heading for a small cave by the water. It was still dark out but the full moon glistened on the lake shining some light on the edge of the forest. My breath catching involuntarily as his large black wolf walked into view. Mate Mate!!! Eva screaming making me cut off our connection and slide deeper into the cave.  A blush covered my face as Jordan shifted standing in front of me completely nude. "Love? I can sense you nearby. Masking your scent was smart but my tracking skills are better" he called. I scoffed lowly at his ego, he may be good but I’m amazing. “I'll wait here all day if I have to I'm guessing you don't want that now do you" he had a satisfied smirk on his face only making my wolf chuckle.  His head snapped towards the cave walking slowly over as I got in a pouncing position. I gave a wolfish smirk before leaping over him sprinting in the direction of my house. I made quick time there, I’m the fastest wolf in the pack maybe even the state. Seeing my front door in front of me I slowed down to a trot, just because I’m fast doesn’t mean I don’t get tired. Before I reached the steps I was tackled by my lovely mate making us roll into the dirt. I growled as he hovered over me.  He gave me a wolfish grin making me snarl. Dammit, I should’ve run all the way. I threw him off of me hoping up quickly, pushing the front door open with my nose before running up the stairs. Kicking my room door closed I shifted back throwing on a big T-shirt and shorts just before my door swung open revealing a, yet again, very naked Jordan.  "Um, can I help you," I asked laying on my bed grabbing my phone from my bag that had somehow made it back from the party. "Don't be like that love, I mean we both know you find me attractive, so why hide from it” he spoke with confidence making me chuckle.  It was silent for a while and I could feel his gaze on me."Oh, your still here" I faked smiled as I looked up from my phone.  "What's your name beautiful," he asked walking over sitting at the end of my bed. "Well, seeing as I'm in three of your classes you should know, but don’t worry it doesn’t matter it’s only my name” I shrugged sarcasm seeping out of my words. "Your not in three of my classes" he denied more of a question than a statement. "Yeah I'm lying that makes more sense" my eyes rolling. I glanced back at him realizing he was still butt naked sitting on my bed, gross. I stood up walking to Drew's room to grab a pair of his sweatpants. I was surprised he didn’t follow as I walked back into my room seeing him in the same place, throwing the pants at him. "Here's the thing I don't want a mate, sorry about it so it'd be great if you left me alone. Not that you mind anyways, you don't seem like the type to be tied down. So we can go on like this never happened and you not knowing I exist. Deal?" I smiled holding by hand out for him to shake. I felt sad he didn't know I existed but I shook the feeling I was only sad because of the mate ties. He stared at my hand for a few seconds frowning before walking out of my room without a word. I shrugged nonchalantly before grabbing my phone and dialing my best friend, Andrea. “Hey girl” Andrea called over the phone making me sigh. “Hey guess who just found their mate” I spoke pulling the phone away from my ear as she squealed loudly. “OMG, that’s so great! Slightly unfair that you found yours before me since I want a mate but still great. Who is it” “Haha well get this, it’s Jordan Wilson” I answered making the line go silent for a second. “No freakin way you lucky b***h. He’s so hot!” She yelled making me laugh. “I mean I guess, but he also couldn’t tell me my name so I don’t see us working out” I laughed rolling on my side. “Well I’m tired, talk more tomorrow?” I continued saying our goodbyes before hanging up. I got ready for bed quickly, turning out the light before crashing back down on my bed. Maybe when I wake up all of this will go away.  Next Morning My alarm blared the next morning making me groan and grab my phone to shut it off. I had a text from Andrea wishing me ‘good luck with Jordan today” Dammit I was hoping that was a nightmare. I sat up groaning barley pulling myself out of bed and walking to my closet getting ready quickly and running down the stairs. "Bye mom bye dad, Devils" I smiled getting glares from the twins, who were sitting at the table, grabbing my keys and heading out to my car. The trip to school was quick it was only a few miles from our house. A few years back they built a new high school in the middle of a few surrounding packs. They felt a high school strictly made up of werewolves would be safer for our secret. As soon as I stepped out of my car Jordan’s scent instantly hit my nose. We have a few classes together today so that should be fun. Though I doubt he knows we have classes. Walking in the doors I saw my long-time fling, Derek. We're not dating or anything just some making out and some dates, purely for fun, but suddenly he looks really unattractive. Damn, I hate this whole mate thing. "Hey babe" he smiled walking up to me and putting his hands on my waist. I shook the disgusted off and smiled up at him. "Hi" I smiled looping my arms around his neck. He leaned down to kiss me but was flung away before he got a chance.  I saw an angry Jordan standing over Derek looking extremely pissed off. He grabbed Derek's neck and shoved him up against the lockers. Derek’s a beta but he stood no chance. Jordan is next in line to be Alpha of the Firerock Pack, hence the overprotectiveness. "Jordan!" I yelled but he didn't seem to hear me. I hurried over grabbing Jordan's shoulder shocked as he growled loudly his wolf taking over his body.  I growled back my wolf to stubborn to show submission, mate or not don’t growl at me. "Put him down! This really isn’t a way to make me like you, come on put him down." I demanded making him growl again. "Why do you care? He snapped making me sigh. "You're going to kill him Jordan, please put him down" I spoke softly rubbing his bicep. He visibly calmed down almost releasing him before Derek kicked him hard in the side. Jordan immediately tightened his grip Derek’s face turning blue quickly.  "She’s mine" he seethed making me groan always has to be the hard way. I grabbed his shoulder firmly flinging him off Derek and down the hallway. He shifted in the air, his large black wolf landing on his feet.  He crouched low growling his wolf fully taking over.  "Everyone leave" I ordered with a hint of an Alpha tone. Though I didn’t take the throne I was still the oldest blood daughter and the power was still in me. Everyone ran out quickly except a gasping Derek on the floor.  "Derek get out of here" I called back slowly walking towards Jordan’s pissed-off wolf. "No Audrey you'll-" I cut him of turning. "NOW" I ordered my Alpha tone loud and powerful. He scrambled up running down the hallway and turning out of sight.  "Jordan you're scaring me" I called making him whimper as I saw him fighting his wolf. His wolf is too angry to recognize who I am or my voice and Jordan has to push past his wolf to take control again. My Dad made my brother and I go through all types of training, even how to calm down an out of control wolf. "Jordan please shift back. We can go to my house or go to breakfast, I promise, just change back please" I begged slowly walking towards him. I could see his eyes changing from black to brown as he fought his wolf. He whined the mind control is hard and he's having in trouble. I got closer to Jordan stopping right in front of him touching his nose softly and slowly running my hand over his face petting his ears. His head was level to mine making his wolf stand about 5'6. His growling slowly stopped and his shifted back breathing hard. "Come on lover boy I don't think you're allowed to be unclothed in school were leaving," I said helping him up, pulling him out the door towards my car. I popped the truck throwing a blanket at Jordan who looked conflicted. Sighing I grabbed the blanket from his hands wrapping it around him before leaning back on my car. "You really don't like me" he frowned his face making my heart hurt uncontrollably. "I don't know Jordan, I don’t want a mate and you act like you don't either. Hell, you've f****d half of the school population. And you almost killed Derek today I can’t do the possessiveness. I don’t know Jordan I just-“ I stopped talking running my hands over my face. “Just get in the car and keep your bare ass off my seats” I snapped making him smile before walking to my door. So we’re giving him a chance? Eva asked making my eyes roll.  No, we’re getting him clothes everything after that I’m not sure. What am I getting myself into?
