Chapter 2

Alpha Leonardo hung me on his shoulder as he busted into his bedroom like the unmannered mafia that he was, hurling me to his bed. My back landed on it with a thud, and I felt a sudden sharp pain in my waist. My hands held onto my waist as a scream escaped my lips. I wanted to make a move but felt a sudden stiffness, “Did this beast just paralyze me?” I roared in my head, my eyes fixed on his annoying face. “It's time to start paying for your father’s debt,” his voice was laced with venom. He reached out to my legs, forcefully pulling them to himself like he wanted to detach my waist from my upper body. “What do you think you are doing?” I roared, looking at him through the open space between my spread legs. “How dare you question me? What the f**k did you think you signed in for?” His language was unflinchingly blurted and cold. His hands slowly unlock the buttons of his shirt. My eyes scanned through his hairy body as he tossed his shirt away, his hand reaching out to his belt. I felt my breath catch in my throat as fear gripped me like a vice. I had never seen a c**k in my life, and I wasn't ready to set my eyes on one. He unlocked his belt and zipped down his pants, revealing his white underwear. He held my legs once again, dragging me closer. I fought to kick him away but he held my thighs tightly, splitting them, and tugged me closer to himself. My front positioned right before him. Alpha Leonardo slid his hand underneath my skirt, reaching out to my pants, and gripping it. I held his hand in an instant, “No, please, Alpha!! Have never known any man! Please stop!! Struggling to free my pants from his hold. He paused, his gaze fixed on my face as he mysteriously whiffed like I was entertaining him. “What makes you think I care?” He sneered and tore my pants in an instant, causing me to scream. I tried to pull my legs from him, my heart racing faster, but he held my hands and shoved them high above my head. “You are hurting me, please Alpha. I beg of you,” tears filled my eyes as I cried out. This was my worst fear- a man forcing himself on me. But he paid deaf ears. Alpha Leonardo was about to take off his underwear when a bang on his door made him pause. “Alpha Leonardo, please you have an urgent matter to attain to,” That bang came as a rescue and Alpha Leonardo finally let go of me. He picked up his shirt and stormed away. I curled myself into a ball, hot tears gushed down my cheeks as my body trembled in fear. The thought of this being my reality was something I had yet to accept. What would be my fate? How would I be able to cope with this beast? Would I be able to survive him before a year? My tears increased when the thought of how Caleb would feel about me leaving him for another man came to mind. How do I explain things to him when I'm stuck here? If I had my Wolf I would have mind-linked him. Caleb was my best friend and the only man I had a romantic connection with. We’ve been through thick and thin because of our rank as Omegas. We had agreed to be in a romantic relationship when I turned 18, and we had just a month before my 18th birthday. But all this won't happen. The beautiful life I had planned with Caleb won't happen because of my father’s mistake. I clutched onto the pillow on the bed, my tears gushing down with each second that passed by, soaking the pillow and mattress. Sadness enveloped my body and it felt like the happy side of me just faded away. I heard the door to the room open and I shot upright on the bed. But my eyes met with someone else and not Alpha Leonardo. It was a young lady, a very gorgeous one to be precise. She held some papers in her hands. She was 5 '5 tall, had sparkly blue eyes, long dark hair that sat comfortably on her waistline. She wore a black short gown revealing her straight flawless legs. Her red stiletto conformed her feet perfectly, and she looked very elegant in it. “You are Alpha Leo’s new toy, right?” She voiced out, a sardonic playing on her lips. “I’m nobody’s toy.” She maliciously giggled, her nose wrinkled in disgust as her eyes scanned through my body. “I can see you have guts,” she threw the papers at my face and I flinched. The papers sprawled on every part of the bed. “That is your final agreement with Alpha Leo, make sure to sign it before he gets back. I don't know what Alpha Leo sees in this dirty, stinking omega.” She hissed and walked out of the room. Her words struck me like a thunderstorm as I watched her leave. I ran my nose to my armpit, sniffing it to confirm if I could perceive any offensive smell but nothing. “Then why did she insult me? I think they have lots of ill-mannered people in this house.” I picked up the papers one after the other, arranging them in a single file, before skimming through. It was a one-year marriage contract which looked like a life-threatening agreement. The contract came with a warning at the end of it which stated, “If you don’t sign our final deal, consider your father dead.” What normal person would send a marriage contract with a death threat? I stood up from the bed, the papers in my hands. My feet paced around the room like a caged animal, contemplating what to do. Should I finalize this or not? What if after a year I'm unable to get my life back, what would become of me? But my father... I couldn't let him die, and paying back Alpha Leonardo’s money was almost as the word ‘Impossible.’ I bit my lower lips as tears blurred my sight. I picked up a pen from the dressing table. My heart pounded in my chest as my tears slowly dropped down my cheeks soaking the papers in my hands. A mighty sigh escaped my lips as I put down my signature, finalizing a contract with the beast. My eyes squeezed shut, tears streaming down even more. “I just sold myself to the devil,” I muttered.
