Chapter Forty-Four:
Tasha smirked at me and took my hand and together we walked back down the hall, down the stairs, and out of the dorms. When we entered the mesh hall dinner was in full flow. The room erupted into cheers as I entered and slowly the ebb and flow of conversation picked back up as we walked through the line and filled our trays with food. When we had filled our tray Tasha nodded to our usual table where all my friends sat waiting chatting loudly. I nodded to Tasha and she led me to the table where I was instantly given a chair and everyone started welcoming me back and talking about the Queen and Kings appearance this morning at the orientation.
“Rebecca did you do that?” Asked Sister in her soft gentle voice.
“Huh do what?” I asked, I had zoned out focusing on my food.
