Dustin quickly caught up with us and draped his arm around my shoulder. “I have the same first period as you but I think that’s the only class we have together. Are you still mad at me or do you forgive me?” he asked and kissed my cheek.
I frowned at him then shrugged. “I am still a bit mad that even after I told you I wasn’t ready you still went to my great Uncle. I am my own person Dusty. I can make my own decisions.”
“I know Becka I do. I was trying to do the proper thing and since your Father is locked away somewhere I thought I should ask your Great Uncle just to make sure our wedding would be blessed.”
