Chapter 4 Ulissa scrambled up the tree, wanting to get this over with fast. Last time she had climbed a tree, it hadn’t ended well for them. This time, she scanned the branches for shrike nests before climbing higher. The way was thankfully clear of all birds of any sort. Ulissa scaled as fast as she could. It was a tall tree, one that helped form the thick canopy of the forest, and should be lofty enough for her to see which way to go.
