Valion dropped his hand from Jesse’s chin but didn’t move away from her. Valions’ bodyguards were hesitant to close the door but Valion raised the hand resting on the back of the couch and flicked his fingers at them without even a look back at them.
Darius scowled at Valion as Valion merely looked up with a raised brow and looked him over with mild interest, his eyes widened slightly in surprise as he inhaled Darius’s scent.
