Jesse got back to the Renaud Residence late that night, hoping to avoid Pieter as she was sure the Silva brothers would have reported back to him on the days conflict.
As she stepped in she found everyone waiting for her.
Pieter had the Silva brothers there as well as four other foxes and they were all in the main living area waiting.
Jesse grimaced as Pieter’s mother called out a cheery greeting to her, from where she was, placing down a bowl of snacks in front of the boys on the couch before retreating back to the family room and the rest of her children.
Pieter’s eyes lifted up and glared at her as the Silva brothers both stood up and moved to block Jesse from being able to flee back out the front door.
