Jesse watched him walk away and felt her cheeks were flushed and hot. Damn it…she wanted him and he knew it, could probably smell it...
She looked at Trey who was completely ignoring them and staring at his phone, her eyes narrowed before lifting back to Adler as he poured himself a whiskey from the full liquor cabinet that was supplied.
“Trey told me your Lycan has been suppressed…I’m sorry you had to go through that.”
Trey looked up with a pale wide-eyed look at her before looking over the couch to Adler. Adler had frozen for a second before putting the bottle of whisky down. He lifted the glass and drained it of its contents before filling it with another shot and draining that too.
Trey looked back at her with a bitter twist to his mouth. “That was supposed to be confidential.”
