As they walked into the auditorium a couple of cheerleaders at the door took their names down before Tobias grabbed Jesse by the arm and pulled her sideways. Jesse saw a group of foxes, girls and guys, standing together excitedly. As they saw Tobias they called out in greeting with a tone of respect.
He pulled Jesse into the middle of the group before letting her go. Jesse saw the group included his brother Caspar who gave her one of those s**t-eating grins of his as his eyes roamed over her body once before meeting her eyes then looking away.
“Stay.” Tobias said with a cheeky lopsided grin.
Jesse gave him a dark scowl and folded her arms. She looked around the auditorium at all the students that had arrived, it was nearly full and the hubbub was almost deafening.
