Jesse waved goodbye to Beth as she leaned on the doorframe of her motel room then dashed back inside to put her shoes on, brush her hair out and tie it up in a ponytail and put the only sweatshirt she had on, luckily it had a hood to protect her somewhat from the drizzling rain as she stepped out of her room and started the trek down the road to the diner.
It wasn’t too far but she was fairly wet by the time she got there. She grimaced a little as she stepped inside and pulled her hood back, the xtreme sports guys were there and Travis saw her immediately.
“Jesse! Hey, come over here…” He shuffled over in his seat making the whole lot of them have to shuffle around the corner booth. “I’ll shout you a coffee…” He waved out to the waitress.
