PREFACE: THIS STORY IS AN OMEGAVERSE. ALPHA - The top of the pyramid, strong, intellectual, and excels at any factor of skills and talent but they are aggressive and unreasonably possessive. OMEGA - Weak and feminine, mostly discriminated because they have the 'heat', a seasonal phenomenon where they give off hormones that can make the Alphas go wild and sensual. BETA - Just normal beings, they don't have heat and they can't be affected by the Omega's heat. They are everyone friends. ZETA - Can be the Alpha for the Omegas and can be Omegas of the Alphas. ..... Destinies are always part of one's cycle. And sometimes, miracles do happen. I am not gonna repeat myself about this matter. Revise this report." the supervisor slammed the folder on his desk. "But Sir, that report was rechecked twice." Fendice defended. "And I said to revise it again. I don't like the format." the boss declared. Fendice secretly cursed him, the format he's been applying is the standard format of the company! "Copy sir." Fendice politely bowed and turned around, suppressing his anger. He found a cabinet right on the door and kicked it hard. The supervisor jumped in surprise. "What's that?!" "Sorry, Sir I hit my toes, on the cabinet." Fendice reasoned out, enduring the pain he just did to himself. The Supervisor scoffed, "Such a weirdo, that's why I can't stand people with social standing." he uttered as Fendice left the office. He sighed. Fendice is the son of the CEO owning the infamous company of Reel but according to the tradition, he must start below before climbing up to the top. That's why he's here, at Liu Corporation as a normal employee struggling to survive. They were tasked to treat him nothing out of ordinary. "So?" A woman with a pleasing face came to him. "Revise again!?" she exclaimed seeing the unchecked documents. Fendice settled on his desk with a bag down his face. "How can I even revise it when all of the sources and market results were already here." "I think he's just venting out his stress to you. You know, his promotion is supposed to be? Due to unprecedented circumstances, his promotion got denied just the time you arrive." his coworker said He exhaled, "Just gonna get this over with." he said facing his computer once again. Fendice Reel hasn't made his name yet even though he's the youngest son of the big company of Reel. He's way too plain and average plus the fact that he's lazy and works for submission only. His older brother Ferrel also started as an average employee in their company but he rose in a fast manner. Due to his natural skill and leadership, he had honed himself as a perfect boss. Currently, he's the Chief of directors at Reel's, aiming to become the Vice-President, becoming their father's right hand. But Fendice's here, the youngest. After graduating with no awards, just the pictures of those years, his father finally contemplated and had decided not to let him work on the company before he is fully prepared. So, they just threw him off on the company's greatest rival but also an ally in terms of mutual benefits, the Liu Finance Corp. This company is sitting at the top of the pyramid. Reel Company had enough competency in the market but Liu was way more advanced and strategically led by their young but domineering CEO, Shawn Liu who made a feat in the business world. From their father's perspective, throwing him here will make way for him to be more active and learn how to become more competent when he could work on their company. Fendice sighed again as he continuously type his report, he can't think of anything but to finish this thing immediately and go home. "Hey! Hey!" someone suddenly called out running from outside "The CEO... He's here!" he said and the people immediately became frantic to fix themselves and line up to welcome the President. "Hey, hey Fendice what are you doing?! Hurry and line up!" his coworker named Marry patted him who's too focused on his computer. Fendice made one last sentence on the word document before standing up. He lined on the furthermost rear side while the female alphas who had just finished beautifying themselves lined up in front showered by their nose-tickling perfumes. "Does the CEO visit here occasionally?" Fendice asked his coworker which he doesn't know the name. "No, ever since I was hired one year ago. I haven't seen the CEO myself, I think it's my first." his coworker replied Fendice nodded, compared to him, he was hired one month ago, and obviously, it's also his first time seeing the domineering CEO that everyone talks about. He's rarely seen because he had business matters all around the globe, spreading his influence and marketing all around. What a busy man, Fendice thought. The whispering stopped when finally, a tall, handsome man stepped inside. His well-built body perfectly complimented his suit and his sharp features were extraordinary. An excellent gene. If Fendice were an omega, he would have felt some tingling sensation inside him which normally occurs when they face a strong Alpha but luckily he's not. He's a Zeta, a half omega, and a part Alpha. His Alpha characteristics neutralize his Omega traits which are very favorable to him. Fendice wanted to be the 'top' after all but due to his laziness and empty charisma, he hasn't got a 'bottom' for himself. "Good Morning Sir." the voices of the employees echoed all around the room as they greeted the CEO. The CEO curved a smile which automatically melted the heart of the female employees. "Good day to all. I'm your CEO Shawn Liu." he politely bowed in front of them. "I am pleased to be here with you today as well as, apologize for not visiting promptly." he bowed again "S-Sir! You don't have to do that! We know you're busy spreading the influence of our country." one of the directors stopped him "Yes sir!" "Definitely Sir!" the employees said in chorus. "Don't mind us here Sir! We're just doing our best to help the company to be handsome just like you!" one of the ladies called "And we know that you're making a lot of money all around the planet Sir!" another lady called out again. They all agreed again and said some sweet talk to the CEO. Gradually, they were pushing forward to lessen the gap between them and grabbing the less distant feeling that the CEO was trying to convey to them. The male secretary stepped in to stop them from going anymore further. "So I have decided." the CEO declared "I will hold a company dinner tonight to recompensate." he said The employees were shocked that they didn't move for a while but burst into cheers as they absorb the meaning of it. "AN UNEXPECTED COMPANY PARTY!" they cheered They shout in excitement and joy. "Thank you Mr. Liu!" the director bowed repeatedly "Thank you Sir!" the employees bowed to him. "You going?" Marry asked as he approached Fendice who was standing still in a corner as the other swarmed around the CEO. Fendice turned to her, "I can't." he replied "Or you just won't?" Marry asked back "It's a one-time event, you won't see this anywhere especially that the CEO is here." "Shawn Liu is a rare creature to see up close I tell you," she added Fendice chuckled, "Right. But I have some important business tonight." Marry abruptly faced him, "You---You have a date? You're in a relationship?" she curiously asked Fendice laughed but didn't say anything. The day almost ended and finally, after the intense focus, Fendice sighed in all satisfaction that he finished the report. He had proofread it and rechecked for how many times before he piled it in a folder. His co-workers have started to fix themselves for the company party, getting hyped up in excitement. "Hey you're not going Reel?" one of the men called out to him as he was about to go outside holding the folder. And because the call was too loud, everyone silenced down and turned to him. "Right, isn't Mr. Reel a big figure among us?" one agreed to realize his presence was there. "He's the son of the Reel President after all." one of his coworkers said and the people started whispering. One lady chuckled in a ridiculing way staring at him, head to toe. "Is he really?" she asked "I thought it's just a department joke?" "More like a delivery man." one lady said in a low voice as he put some blush-on on her face. Her friend chuckled and whispered something to her while staring at Fendice, then they both laughed. "Hey, hey is the work hour over? You're all rattling already." Marry told them They silenced down and resumed their business. "You're done?" she asked Fendice nodded, "Hope the supervisor is still there." Marry smiled, "I'm sure he's still in. Good luck again." "Hopefully it's the last," he replied as he opened the door and walked towards the supervisor's office. It's in the west wing of the floor where their department is located. The afternoon orange sky reflected on the clear glass as he silently walked towards the office. The Liu building was the tallest skyscraper in the City, each floor encompasses several departments that the main branch handles, and at the top floor, the penthouse he may say was the CEO's office. Fendice admits that he's several baths away from being par on Shawn Liu. The man was naturally handsome, knows how to be friendly and kinda nice, he wanted to be that kind of person but such changes will take time. He reached the office door and knocked. "It's open." called from inside Fendice raised his brows, he didn't know the supervisor could switch his voice into a gentle one. He shrugged and opened it. "Sir, I've revised the report----" But Fendice froze as he stare at the man standing alone in the room. "Hello, Fendice." Shawn Liu greeted. Fendice blinked and turned behind him, the door was the same, the cabinet he kicked earlier was there too and the supervisor's table was the same. It's the right room right?
