Joey's p.o.v
Jane walked down a hallway behind Nick and I'm guessing to go see dad. I on the other hand was going up the stairs and following Alice to my new room. She was bubbly and adorable with her Teddy bear around her arms.
Alice led me down a hallway Where there was a door at the end. Two on the left side, and two on the right side of the hallway. She took me to the second door on the right. "This is your new room Joey!" She happily opened the door to a decent sized room.
A king sized bed with white and black blankets was to the right, and black bean bag chairs was sitting in front of the flat screen TV that was to my left. A door was to the right of the bed and a nightstand to it's left. This room was bigger than the apartment that me, mom, and Jane was living in.
"Thanks Alice for showing me my room." Alice was giggling and walked to the room across from mines. Looking over the room one more time, I left and went downstairs to find Jane. In the distance there was a small whimper and muffled sounds. The sound had my attention until I heard voices from down the hallway and Jane's I recognized but the other one was probably dad's.
My hand reached the doorknob but I didn't open it until I heard Jane say something that I didn't want to hear. "Take care of Joey while he's here!"
What did she mean? She's going to be here with me! Right?
I bust through the door with an expression of confusion and anger.
.......
Jane p.o.v
"Jane..... my daughter, it's nice to see you again." He offered me a small smile. My look of staying stone didn't quiver.
"Cut the bullshit and let's get this over with." I walked to the chair that was in front of his desk and sat down. On top of his brown wooden desk sat a black rim framed picture with a gorgeous female. She was beyond beautiful and as I stared at this woman I could tell why dad left Cindy for her. She had brown hair that is a few inches past her shoulders, brown eyes, and a tall slim figure. She looks like a classy woman and somebody who could become something great whereas Cindy looks like she's going to be doing drugs throughout her life.
"Here's your key to the apartment and don't worry I bought you a ride to get there and here's the name and address of where the apartment is at." I took the key and piece of paper that Matt put on the desk and started walking to the door. Before I made my way to the door I turned and gave Matt a hard glare. "Take care of joey while he's here"
I received a smile back though there was something in his eyes that tells me that he knows something that I don't know. I was going to say something about it but somebody burst threw the doors.
It was Joey standing there with a troubled look on his face. "Jane are you leaving me here?" his facial expression was breaking down as I gave him a defeated look. "yes Joey I have to leave in order to keep you safe from harm’s way."
Joey let out a sigh and embraced me in a big warm hug. My face was buried into his chest and his chin was sat on top of my head. We were standing like that for a few minutes until somebody cleared their throat.
I moved apart from Joey and turned to see that Nick was standing at the door. A glare was sent his way by me and Joey. I put my hands on my hips as an amused but scary grin was shown on my face. "I'd advise you to not interrupt me and my brother whenever we're talking." I took a step closer to Nick with my evil glare and scary grin. "am I clear?" my voice was low and sent a scared shiver threw his body. He nodded his head yes and let out a nervous laugh.
"I came to take you to your ride" Replied Nick before walking down the hall to the front door. I started following him but stop to say something to Joey. "don't forget to call or text me."
When we made it outside I realized that there was a motorcycle or more preferably a blue and black 2013 ninja 650 on the side of the curb. "here's the ride that dad bought you." Nick handed me the keys to this new beautiful motorcycle of mines. "all your things has been dropped off while you were talking to dad." I walked to the motorcycle and placed my blue helmet on my head.
"Tell Matt that just because he bought this motorcycle for me doesn't mean that I forgive him or you." I placed the key into the ignition and it turned on with a powerful roar. My hands grip the bars, the direction that was on the paper is set in my mind. I lifted both of my feet off the ground and took off driving to the apartment.
