"Don't love Hakken too much, Eyen." Poseidon put his hand on my head and mess my hair. I stare at him... We are patrolling on the campus... And It's already midnight...

Love? Don't love him too much?

Poseidon smiled at me. "I'm just warning you, Eyen. I don't want you to get hurt." I don't get him.

"I'm his mate." I whisper.

"Yes. You are." He looks serious this time. "You maybe his mate but he have responsibilities as a chosen one. He might hurt you sooner or later if he didn't chose you." If he didn't chose me. Why does my heart is aching just by Poseidon saying that? "You don't deserve to get hurt. You're too nice and naive."

Napanguso ako sa huling sinabi niya pero may naisip din ako .. I smile and look up and tried to reach the starry. "Maybe you're right. He might hurt me you say... But I might be the one who hurt him in the end, Poseidon."

"I can see curses." Biglang sabi nito na ikinalingon ko sa kanya. "I'm the only vampire who have purple eyes because I can see curses and can remove it." He smile at me.

"You're special." I said.

"You have curse. Who curse you? Want me to remove it for you? Is that why you said you might hurt hakken because of that?" Mahina akong natawa sa sinabi niya at tumingin ulit sa langit. I stared at the moon.

"I don't want it to be remove and this curse won't hurt him, Poseidon." Nakangiting sabi ko.

"That string in your heart is always tightening, Eyen."

"I know. Hindi ko naman ikakamatay yan." I can feel his stares... He's the only one who knows I'm curse. That I have curse and he sees it. He sees the string in my heart.

"I'm the one who put that string. I'm the one who curse myself." Sabi ko.

"Why? Nasasaktan ka dahil diyan so why would you curse yourself?"

"Whenever the string tightens on my heart." Nakangiting tiningnan ko siya. "Someone important to me is suffering." His eyes widen a bit. "and I chose to feel their pain because I love them. I'll suffer with them."

Silence filled between us before he let out a soft chuckled. "You're so annoying!"

"Ouch." Pagda-drama ko dahil sa sinabi niya.

"I like you. You're so pure."

"I'm not." I laugh. "Don't say I'm pure, Poseidon. You only saw my nice and kind side. You still didn't see me in the battle field and killed a lot of people."

"So what."

"Seeing you too talk, laugh and smile with each other are so irritating the hell out of me!" Biglang sulpot ni Hakken at hinapit ako sa beywang. "He's mine Poseidon."

"Chill, Little brother." I tilt my head to the left and my brows furrowed while looking at this two.

"Little brother?" Takang tanong ko

"He's my little brother, eyen."

Hakken rest his chin on my shoulder and hug my waist. "He's an annoying older brother." He whisper.

"Oh..." Ngumisi ako kay Poseidon. "How old are you?"

"18." Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay dahil sa sinabi niya. He laugh. "fine! I'm two hundred and one."

"Hahaha old man!" He glared me that made me laugh even more. Binalingan ko din si Hakken.

"That guy who's with you that day...."

"My older brother as well." He whisper.

"Knite?" Sabat ni Poseidon. "You already meet knite?"

"Yeah. How old is he?"

"We don't really talk about our age but yeah—knite is hundred and ninety."

"Oh? Tatlo lang kayong magkakapatid?" Poseidon nod his head. I glance at hakken. "Why is your name hakken? It should be Zeus then Knite is Hades." I grin.

"That name again, Eyen."

"Hahahaha I like greek mythology, sorry not sorry hehehe."

"Greek mythology?" Taas ang kilay na sabi ni Poseidon... Hakken stayed silent but he's sniffing my neck And I can feel the butterflies in my stomach and it's really bothersome!! Pero hinayaan ko na lang si Hakken.

"Yeah. Poseidon is the God of sea. I already told you that... Then his brother Zeus is the God of sky— he's considered as the ruler, protector and father of all Gods and humans."

"Then I should be Zeus!"

"Your power is water! Not thunder."

"Then it should be knite. His power is thunderbolt." Hakken said.

"Woah! Really? Yeah. He should be Zeus! Then you're hades... Pero Ice ang kapangyarihan mo."

"So what's up with Hades?" Tanong ni Poseidon.

"Hades is the God of underworld in Greek Mythology." Napatango tango naman si Poseidon.

"Hades is not me."

"Yeah. You can be Jack frost."

"Is he a God too?"

"No. He's a guardian. He don't belong to greek myth." Natatawang sagot ko kay Hakken. "He's cool. Crush ko kaya yun."

"I'm your hakken. You can't like anyone. Only me you should like, love." He heave a sigh. "Fine... You can like someone but just as a friend and only me you should love. Okay?"

"Whatever you say, darling." I can feel his smile on my neck.

"You can patrol alone, Poseidon." Sabi ni hakken at binuhat ako. "I don't want my mate to get tired." Hindi na niya pinasagot si Poseidon at tumakbo na. Napakapit lang ako sa leeg niya...

When he stopped. We're already inside my room. Umalis ako sa pagkakabuhat niya sakin. "I'm going to take a bath. Mauna ka ng matulog, Darling."

Bago pa ako makahakbang papalayo sa kanya. Hinapit na niya ako sa beywang at niyakap... He buried his face on my neck. "I'm thirsty."

"Then Drink." Inangat niya ang tingin niya sakin.. he's looking at me lovingly. Ngumiti ako sa kanya. "If you're thirsty. Drink, Darling." He smiled at me.

"You know. There's a meaning behind the 'I'm thirsty' of mine, love but I won't tell you about it." I stared at his eyes. It feels like he want me to find out what's really the meaning behind it.

"So it's not 'let me drink your blood'?"

"Hmm. There's that." He chuckled. I look at his lips. He rolled his tongue on his lips. "Kiss me." He said. Napakurap kurap ako. What the f**k?

"You always enter my room and you're the only one who do that and I didn't mind that at all and now, you're asking me to kiss you?" Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin na tinawanan niya lang.

"Afraid that somethings else will happen, love?" Malandi ang boses na sabi nito at hinawakan ako sa baba. And because of what he said and his voice too— I feel my face heated... Not only the face! But my body as well. And not only that my mind are thinking something else as well!

Tumingin ulit ako sa mga mata niya. He's looking at my lips... Like he want to devour it. Maybe the feeling is mutual.

I put my arms around his neck while he immidiately encircle his arm on my waist... He's the one who lean and captured my lips. I just close my eyes. Feeling his lips on mine. Moving.

I kissed him back. He sucked and bit my lower lips. I gasped and he took advantage of that... I can feel him smile when he successfully entered his tongue inside my mouth.

Our lips were only separated when we were both out of air... We both catching our breath when I buried my face on his shoulder.

"Go take a bath, love." He said breathless. "I'll stay here." I didn't move. I can feel my face red and there's something inside me burning... "Ey, please go."

Inangat ko ang ulo ko para tingnan siya... There is something in his eyes.... That's... Desire!

He rolled his tongue on his lips. "You're still not ready for me to touch your body so please take a bath! Go! Before I lost every control in my body!" I stared at him for a seconds before my brain process what he said...

Doon ko lang napansin na maliban sa braso kong nasa leeg niya— nakapulupot na din ang mga hita ko sa beywang niya... He's hands supporting my back.

Napapasong lumayo ako sa kanya. "Take a bath, I will wait. I'm going to sleep here."

"You always sleep here!" I said and before i turn my back on him. I saw him smile and before I close the Bathroom's door. I heard him say.

Nakapatong ang pisngi ko sa palad ko habang nakasuporta ang siko ko sa table. Hindi ako nagsulat sa notebook dahil ang haba ng sinusulat ni Sir Laurel at tinatamad talaga akong magsulat... Might take a picture of what's written on the black board later. Si Wendy at Cal lang naman ang nagsusulat the rest of us is just listening to Laurel sensei... He's writing while explaining.

"Mate." I glance at hakken

"Hmm?"

"Do that again."

"Do what?" Takang tanong ko sa kanya.

"The hmm."

"Hmm?" He smiled.... I'm confused! What's with it?

"Nakadrugs ka ba?" Kunot noong tanong ko. Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay.

"Drugs? What's that?" Napanguso ako.

Umayos ako ng upo at tiningnan si Sensei.

"No. We're not done yet." Siniko ko si hakken dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Sorry sir." Tipid akong ngumiti.

Lunch break At Nagpapasubo na naman sakin si Hakken...

"Eyen, there's something wrong with this!" Pinaharap ni Callaile sakin ang cellphone ko. "Look! Nawala ang pinapanood ko." I laugh.

"Give me that." Inabot naman niya sakin ang Cellphone ko. Sinubuan ko muna si Hakken bago sinagot ang tawag ni Lyf.

"Miss me?" Sabi ko ng masagot ko ang tawag. Lyf laughed.

"Yeah."

"You need anything?" I ask.

"Ahm. Can you please retrieve something for me, Eyen?"

"Ano yun?"

"A weapon." I tilt my head to the left, my brows furrowed.

"What weapon?" I ask.

"Hehe I accidentally drop my weapon and it's on the devil kings castle right now."

"Huhhhh?" Biglang napataas ang boses ko dahil sa sinabi niya. "You drop your holy sword!? Are kidding me?" I blink repeatedly.

"I'm not."

"Does a devil can hold a holy weapon?" I ask, curious. "I mean you're an angel and your weapon is holy! Can they touch that?" I'm really curious!

"The devils there and the devils who was an angel before are different, Eyen. But oh well, they can't touch it hehe"

"How so? How can they be different?"

"Find it out."

I smiled "Fine. Text me the location."

"Yey! Thank you Eyen."

"You're welcome." He ended the call and text me the location.

"You're talking to an angel?" Inangat ko ang tingin ko at tiningnan ang mga kasama kong naglunch.

"Yeah?"

"Using that?" Turo pa ni Paul sa cellphone ko

"Yeah?" Sagot ko na parang inosenteng bata. Nakatulala pa din sila sakin.

"You're an angel, are you?" Mahina akong natawa sa tanong ni Aubrey.

"I'm far from being an angel, Aubrey."

"But You are!!" Sigaw ni Wendy habang nakatingin pa din sakin na nanlalaki ang mata. "You're an angel! You're so kind. You're so nice. You're too humble and you look like an angel as well!" Napangiwi ako dahil sa sinabi niya.

"I'm a human,Wendy." Natawa na naman ako.

"You sure that my mate is not an angel?" Hakken whisper.

"Bakit ka kinausap ng anghel?" Henry ask.

"Yeah. Why?" Gabriél said, curiosity was seen in his face... They're all curious alright .. they all want to know... And I'm not really fun of lying.

"I don't know what lyf did but he dropped his holy sword and it's now on the devil king, he said. I need to go and retrieve his sword." Sumeryoso naman sila dahil sa sinabi ko.

"You can't go!" Gabriél said. "You shouldn't go."

Seryoso silang lahat... Why!!!?

"Bakit?" Tanong ko.

"They are ruthless, love." Seryosong sabi ni Hakken. "I can't let you go."

"Devils don't hesitate to kill you once they saw you, Eyen."

"Devils are the one who controls demon, Eyen. They won't show any mercy when they kill someone."

"Other races don't mingle with devils eyen."

"Their place is off limits."

"I still planned to go." I said.

"No!" I look at hakken.

"I will only get the Sword, darling."

"Do you want to die!?" Masungit na sabi ni henry... Umayos ako ng pagkakaupo at ngumiti sa kanila.

"I'm an agent, Guys. I was trained to be one... Infiltrating enemies territory is just a piece of cake to me." Napangiti ako ng malapad. "Now that I mentioned infiltrating." Mahina akong natawa. "I miss fighting."

"Huh?"

"Huwag mo ngang ibahin ang usapan, Eyen." Cal said. "Your safety is more important. Can't that angel just get his sword!? He's the one who dropped it!" Napatango pa ang lahat sa sinabi niya. I laugh.

"Lyf probably know that I missed fighting that's why he ask me to get his sword." I smile at them showing them that I will be fine. "I'm a badass in a battle, guys."

"I will come with you."

"No." Tiningnan ko si Hakken. "Can you all please trust me?"

"I do. But.. but." Binalingan ko si Kyle...

"I won't die don't worry."

"Promise?"

"Yeah. Promise." Kyle finally smiled.

"Okay."

"Fine. We will trust you."

"Can I come?" Wilson said.

"I will go alone, Wilson."

"Let me come, Love."

"No."

After I said that... Silence filled the room... Hakken rest his forehead on my shoulder.

"What's badass mean?" Basag ni Gabriél sa katahimikan.

"Badass? It's like a tough person..." How should I explain this to them? I'm not really good at explaining... "Let's say ahm... Kuya Jenos and Rei are a badass knight .. they fought a lots of Strong demons after all.."

"Ah." Tumango tango pa sila.... Okay. That's awkward.
