All the alphas are gathered outside the packhouse. They were told to leave the house as per alpha Caleb's instructions. Everyone was wondering what alpha Caleb was thinking.
"What do you think he's thinking?" The youngest alpha among them wondered as he looked at the house.
An experienced alpha answers the young one, "whatever it is, I'm sure it's all about his missing luna." A woman snakes her arm around him, he turned to her and kissed her head.
"I don't want to think of what he would do if he could not find her" a man walked forward.
The oldest alpha there looked at him, "you seem to know his luna. Alpha James" he asked, intrigued.
Alpha James looks at the old alpha, "we're a neighboring pack, Alpha Oliver. We have met a few times before."
The old alpha nodded, " Oh yeah, you even assisted them when they were attacked before."
Everyone nodded in agreement. Remembering that event as alpha, Simon betrayed the alliance.
"How do you think they kidnapped the new luna," an alpha around the same age as alpha James spoke, " It should have been difficult to abduct a luna in a pack territory, but they did it without anyone noticing."
"The two witches were escorted to the packhouse." An alpha, a little younger than alpha Oliver squeezed in the conversation, "it seems to me that a witch had something to do with the luna's abduction."
Everyone nodded, they agreed that it could only be done with a witch casting a spell. But they all wonder who it could be? Are these two witches responsible for it?

Inside the alpha's office
Caleb's wolf, Xavier, is on the verge of a rampage. He is so furious. They knew that a witch had somehow done a spell and abducted their mate.
"Where is my mate?!" Xavier screamed at the two witches he pinned on the wall.
These witches clutch the hands of the alpha that's blocking their airways. Their struggling to get out of his hands. And while everyone else was shocked at his sudden action. As his anger arises, so is his power that makes everyone in the room shiver in fear.
Xavier moved his face closer to the two, "I will kill you both if something ever happens to her!" He threatened them.
The two witches whine in pain, gasping for air. They're losing their strength. But the old witch is wise, he whispers spells to push back the alpha. And it works, but not strong enough to even push Xavier afoot.
Xavier felt insulted and challenged. He growls at the old man's face. He then throws him across the room and lets go of the other. He strides towards the old witch. But before he could touch him, three pairs of hands grabbed both his arm and body.
Shaking his arms and body, Xavier looked at the three men holding him. His beta, his cousin, and his warrior. He growled at them. Like the others, the king and queen, and the former alpha and luna, were still struggling to stand up straight, as the others were still feeling the rage of Xavier's power that was still surging out. These three seemed to recover faster.
Matilda was amazed as to what she was witnessing. If Caleb, Xavier, is the wolf in the prophecy, he has the power inside him that could knock any wolf around. But these three recovered fast. She looks at them intently. She was wondering why. Something, there must be some connection between them.
"Calm down Xavier!" Leon whispered in his ear, "think of Quincy, your mate," he said her name, hoping it would calm him down even a little. " We need to question them" he reasoned out.
And just like that, just hearing his mate's name, Xavier slowly calmed down. He breathes in to decapitates his anger. Calming down, the three let him go. Xavier spared another stare at the old witch before he walked back to his desk.
Sitting down, the three follow him and stand beside the desk like they are guarding him against going berserk.
"No need to stay on guard on me" Xavier irritatedly said to them, but the three just stared at him, not believing for a moment that he would not lose control again. Sighing, Xavier angrily yelled at them, " Fine! I'm giving back control to Caleb", he then shut his eyes.
The king and queen, and the former alpha and luna, can now move as the power suffocating them has vanished.
Caleb breathes in before he opens his eyes. He looked at everyone in the room. He stares at the two witches, his eyes still carrying anger towards the two. He stands up, and immediately the three move to his side but he raises his hand, stopping them, "I'm fine, and don't step overboard", he reminded them. The three, feeling the power of their alpha, couldn't do anything but nod.
Matilda composed herself and walked towards Caleb. Once in front of him, she lowers her head, "Alpha Caleb, I don't know why you're angry, but I want you to know that I don't know where Luna Quincy is". She then looks up to him.
Caleb stares at her, studying her face. His sight passed her and straight to the old man who was still composing himself. The old Baltese didn't walk towards him but stayed at a distance. Holding his neck that was bruised by the alpha's strong grip, old Baltese didn't show any sign of guilt, " My hands are clean on this event, alpha Caleb, whatever you think I did," he paused and looked at the king and queen who he had sworn to serve, "I will never betray my oath to the king and queen."
Caleb looked at him and Matilda, looking back and forth at the two witches, shaking his head, "then how come there's a scent of spell in this house!" He slammed his hand on his desk in anger.
Everyone turns their heads to him. "What do you mean? You can smell the spell?" His father looked at him disbelieving.
Caleb nods at his father, "we didn't notice it before because we got distracted, but now, we can fully smell this spell." He looks at the two witches again, "someone used a spell to cover themselves and abduct my mate."
The queen gasped at the revelation Caleb brought to them, " Oh moon goddess!" She turned to his king, "if a witch is working with someone, and they've managed to take her away," she gripped her mate's arm, she didn't finish what she has to say as she was afraid.
The king consoles his mate, "shhh, she will be okay, she will be fine".
Caleb snapped his head at the king, "you can't know that!" He snarled at him that everyone was shocked, "you brought a witch into my land". His eyes were getting darker, he was no longer recognizing who was in front of him. To Xavier, no one is above them, they don't need to bow to anyone. Not now, not ever.
The king got offended but didn't show it. " Old Baltese is a trusted witch, we consider him our friend". He then looked at Matilda, "there is another witch in your land alpha Caleb."
Matilda suddenly looked at the king, " My consciousness is clear your highness, I want nothing but Quincy's safety." She explained to herself "I will never do anything to put her in danger!" She's frustrated that these dogs are doubting her intention.
"Enough!" Caleb roared and everyone again shivered in fear, but his beta, cousin, and warrior didn't seem to be affected that much. "If you both got nothing to do with this spell, tell me how it appears here?"
The two witches look at each other. "If the spell is made by a witch, it must be cast on a person". Baltese doesn't want to get into Caleb's bad side.
"A person who can easily walk around and probably knows this place and the people", Matilda added.
Caleb sighs and returns to his chair. He grips his hair in frustration. Everyone looked at him. Sympathizing with him. Somewhere deep inside them, they wish that nothing bad would happen to her.
Alpha Troy walked to his son, "what happened, son?" He's referring to his comment about smelling the spell left behind in this house.
Caleb looked at his father first before he answered, "during that fight when I was fighting those vamps, who came back once again", he began but cut off. They were all surprised by what he had just said.
"Vampires!" They all took a breath. Well, they didn't know that there was an attack aside from those rogues. We forgot to mention it because of what happened to their mate.
Leon leaned on the table, "what vampires? What do you mean they came back?" He was never informed of it and was wondering why it happened.
"What happened to them? Did you kill them all?" King Blake inquired.
Matilda joined the bickering, " Did they come here for her too? Did they know what she was?" If a vampire had learned who Quincy is, there's a possibility that others had already known about it too.
Caleb slammed his fist on his desk to stop them, "quiet!" He breathed in to calm himself. "They've trespassed before and accidentally encountered Quincy when she was alone." He explained the first time the vampires met with Quincy, "Back then they didn't know who she was. But they've come back again, and this time they know who she was and targeted her on purpose." His hand is tightly fisted to contain his anger, "Good thing alpha James was with her that time. He protected her from them until I came." Remembering that time. Standing up, he walked to the window and gazed at the sky. "Last night, when those rogues attacked us, they were on the other side of the land. The rogues were just a distraction. They have their plan to sneak up inside the pack." He turned around and looked at them. "Xavier managed to locate them quickly before they could even make it to the packhouse. But upon fighting them, we felt something." He paused at a thought that crossed his mind, "Now that we think about it. It's a spell being activated." He brushed off his face and hit the wall, the whole room shook, "her face was the one that flashed into our minds, and right then and there, we knew something happened to her. We quickly try to contact her, but our connection has vanished."
They all looked stunned. "What do you mean the connection has vanished?" Queen Desiree's face showed how much she was so worried about Quincy's well being.
Caleb pressed his head on the wall, "we could not sense her. She's nowhere on the land. I left those vamps and returned here. But she was already gone." He turned to face them again, "she was gone in just a few seconds, which she couldn't have been. That only left us with one possible way. Someone used a spell and abducted her right here, inside the house. Someone is betraying me". His eyes were flaming with anger.
Everyone looked at one another. It is a huge crime for a wolf to abduct the luna of an alpha.
The king scratches his chin and nods, "then, we need to make your status known as soon as possible Alpha Caleb" The former alpha and luna, and the witches blankly stare at the king, "you need to claim your right and to let every wolf know that the wolf in prophecy is here"

They have every alpha in the grand hall, no one was allowed other than the king and queen, and Caleb's beta, cousin, and warrior.
The alphas look at each other, wondering why they were asked to be there and what is this meeting all about. They were looking for the missing Luna after all.
Murmuring, whispering, everyone had something to speculate on. "Silence!" King Blake's voice shut them all. Everyone stopped and looked at their king that was standing in front of them. Besides him is Caleb, and the three stood behind their alpha.
"What is this, my King?" Alpha Oliver asked, gazing at the alpha who stood beside their king.
King Blake looks at every one of them, "alphas of the southern kingdom!" He started, watching them, "You've all been told of the wolf in prophecy, I know you've already known who that is" he looks at alpha Caleb, "the wolf who receives the greatest power, strength, and speed like no other in this world" he pauses and waits for any reaction from them, "fellow alphas, its time to know, and acknowledge the presence of the wolf in that prophecy" he watched the face, expression of everyone in the room, "that wolf, is alpha Caleb of the Moonbridge pack!"
