After Henry left, the noise outside grew louder. I looked out the window and saw that he had taken a small number of the guards with him. I was soon informed that he had used them to surround Aurora's pack.
I knew he was trying to for her to come back.
What charm does this woman have? Henry always chose her over me ever since we were young.
I ripped my necklace off. It was only a replica anyway. Today in the study, when I saw that picture of her on Henry's phone, I knew that her necklace would have cost a fortune. Although I could find a similar one, I would never have one as valuable as hers.
Maybe it was our status that always made Henry pick her over me. I was only the daughter of the old Beta of the Nightfall Pack, she was the noble Alpha's daughter.
