I focused on the shadows around me instead of the alphas circling me. I whipped shadows up all around me. It looked like a circle of shadowy tentacles surrounded me. Three alphas lunged at me at the same time from different directions. I used the shadows to grip each one of them by the neck, tightly, lifting them in the air. All three alphas were clawing at the shadow, trying to break free. They were of course unsuccessful in their attempt. It was like pulling at smoke for them.
