He asked her without taking his eyes off of me, and she eagerly skimmed through the papers and dug out what he asked for, handing it to him compliantly. "You can go." He dismissed her, and she left as he decided. "Get up, let's go," he uttered, speaking to me since he and I were the only ones in the room. "I will not be dutiful to you as that woman is."
