I ran back to the pack as fast as I could, my legs were on fire as I put every bit of my strength into my body. It may be the last energy too. My chest is heaving as I carelessly jump and dodge the traps I know we put out here. I memorized all of it and they're all along the boarder. I come to a steady halt when I see Nick rounding up the guards. I stand in the darkness, hiding behind a bush as he orders them around. A lot of them are in wolf form and I bet they're just waiting for Nathaniel to show up.
I pray that my mate is bright enough to not go in there, looking for me.
