49. A night of hesitation. Sweat beads twinkled on her forehead under the white beam of a lamp post cast down on her face. Aura parted her lips to make an excuse— but to her good luck, his cell phone buzzed in the pocket of his formal pants. "I am sorry, Aura. I will have to take this call though." Damien said as he gave his phone a glance before he turned around to take the call. "Yes, Brian." Relief filled Aurora's chest. She closed her eyes at the sudden sensation of comfort given that his overwhelmingly intense eyes were off her face. Only she knew how difficult it was to lie while looking into his deep burning eyes. "Really? Gosh, I am so happy, dude." Slipping away and onto her feet, Aura approached Damien. "I can't thank you enough for this news, brother. Thanks so much."
