"My Zombie Girlfriend"

The sun was setting on a quiet suburban street. The birds were chirping and the wind was blowing gently through the trees. Everything seemed peaceful and serene, until suddenly there was a loud crash from an old abandoned house at the end of the street. Inside, a young man named John had been searching for something special when he heard the noise. He cautiously made his way to where it had come from and found himself standing in front of an old wooden door that had been broken open. He slowly opened it and stepped inside, only to find himself face-to-face with a zombie! John screamed in terror as he stumbled backwards, but then he noticed something strange about this particular zombie - she looked oddly familiar. After taking a closer look, John realized that this zombie was actually his long lost girlfriend! She had gone missing months ago after being bitten by another zombie during an outbreak in their town. John quickly ran over to her side and tried to wake her up but nothing seemed to work - until finally she opened her eyes! She looked around confusedly before finally recognizing John's face and giving him a weak smile. She slowly stood up with his help and they embraced each other tightly as tears streamed down both their faces - they were reunited at last! John quickly explained what had happened since she'd gone missing while helping her out of the house so they could get back home safely before nightfall. As they walked back together hand-in-hand, John couldn't help but feel relieved that his beloved girlfriend was still alive - even if she did happen to be undead now...
