Dad looked at me for a few seconds before nodding once. I turned to Jayden.
“May I borrow a car? Preferably something that can handle being off road”, I said.
“You can use my truck, but I’ll be coming with you” he said, leaving no room for argument.
“I need to make a call first” I grumbled out, and walked out of the room. I took out my phone and dialed Drako. Drako answered on the second ring.
“Damn, I knew you couldn’t stay away” he said with a chuckle.
“Hello to you too, big brother” I said.
“What’s wrong? I can hear in your voice that something is wrong”, Drako said, leaving all playfulness aside.
“Is that Elena?” I heard Drago ask.
“Put it on speaker” I heard Maddie say. I begin to explain to them everything that happened from going to my old pack until now.
