The Runaway Bride

Chapter 1

The silver doorknob twisted and a guy show up he looks like the owner of this house wearing a navy bule polo with a black slocks and black belt around his waist make him perfect. His mestizo look light up because of the light came from the close glass window to protect the inside of the room.

"Miss I'm felix Avila and I am the who bumped into"

I hold my head as if its hurting. "I remember that. Where I am?" I ask him.

"Specifically you are in my house and I did not bother you to check in on my hotel"

"T-That is your hotel?"

"Yes"

I looked at him seriously and he was looking at me too.

He sigh. "Did your groom leave you?"

How did he--Oh my gosh!! I looked at my body and I'm not wearing a dirty white wedding gown I'm wearing a denim short and big size shirt.

"D--Did y--you--"

He raised his arms as if he is arresting. "I didn't, my sister did that thing"

I'm relieved. "Can I leave now?"

"Are you new here?"

"Y-yes"

"Don't feel like i'm going to eat you" he laugh.

"Ahm, D-Do you know where I can work here?--- stay in" I said with a trembling sound.

I know it is too much to asked but this is an opportunity why would I not take this and he said he owned that Venture hotel.

He walks towards the bed. "I actually need some people in my hotel would you like to work there?"

"Yes of course!" That directly came out into my mouth. How rough your face Astrid.

"Okay, but can you please introduce yourself?"

No real Identity Astrid. I should think another name for myself while i'm here.

I extend my right arm. "E-Elysse"

He accepted my hand. "Sounds good, but your work will be too hard for you... I mean you look like a rich girl"

"Do I?" I said with a wide smile. "No I'm not I was abandoned and starting to live alone thats why all of those heavy works is okay with me"

"Then great you should stand up now fix yourself and we'll go now I will introduce you to your workmates"

He go out now living me alone inside this elegant room. I wonder who owns this room the scent is so refreshing and the bed is relaxing.

I already finished fixing myself and go downstair the house are full of expensive things simple but elegant.

"Are you ready?"

I stare at him. "Why are you helping me?"

"Because you need my help" he simply said.

Maybe he have pity on me I was wearing a dirt white wedding gown and the make up on my face is all are messed. No one will know about what happen to except him he desreve to know the truth after all the help he gave to me.

We already get through in his hotel and every eyes are giving me uncomfortable feelings they are all staring at us. They probably like their boss and they are angry seeing me with their Crush.

"Don't cha worry b***h" I whispered.

He looked at me. "Saying something?"

Did I say it loud?

"Ah Nothing its just--" No reason at all.

I had noticed they were busy earlier but now seems like they are doing nothing felix have powerful appeal that makes girls stunned.

"Felix where will be my assigned place?"

"Here" he pointed the front desk.

"Where's the assigned here?"

"Fired"

My mouth showed an O shape. "Why?"

"I'm finding someone better because all customers are complaints and she didn't face the problem.

"Okay, I'll start now?"

He nodded.

I'm heading to the place where I can change my outfit into a formal one. I saw some girls inside of it and some of them looking at me like there's something on my face.

I received a message coming from Bella.

Bella:

What's up Astrid?

It takes a minute for me to decide about what am I going to say.

Me:

I'm okay Bella I'm in palawan and don't worry about me I'm working now maybe I couldn't reply your future messages.

Its for my safety too if tita beatrice will found out where exactly I am, she will going to find me and make me pay for what embarrassment I did to her.

"Hi" someone talk behind my back.

She smiling widened at me she was a wearing a gray shirt and I think that is the clothing of janitress here.

"Hi" I said. "I'm Jade" she outstretch her hand.

"I'm Elysse"

We already go out from the room that is given for the girl employees. My shift will be 7:00 am until 3:00 pm but there will be a changes in the future.

"Good Morning Ma'am how may I help you?" I asked the woman in a classy outfit.

She raised her brows to me. "You look new"

"Yes Ma'am"

Felix said I should have a long patience to entertain customers because some of them are mean.

"I change my mind" she said and walked out.

Seriously?!

I'm standing and checking somethings like what did the last person infront do here? Thats my job most importantly the checkins and checkouts of the customers.

"Miss where's Felix?" A voice coming from a man asked.

I looked at him he was wearing a black eyeglasses and wearing a gray shirt his lips are perfectly shaped with pinkish.

"Excuse me, I'm asking where is Felix avila?"

Shit! Astrid. "Ah-- I-I will call him sir"

I get the telephone and dial the number of felix telephone on his office.

"Someone is looking for you"

"Who?" He asked.

"Sir May I know your name?"

He breath deeply. "Reagan Huxley"

"Reagn Huxley"

"He is in his office sir"

"Okay, and don't look at me it annoys me" he said.

Arrogant!

"Jade!"

"Yes?"

"Did you know Reagan Huxley?" Maybe she knows that seems like he's always here.

"Yes of course! Sir Reagan is one of Sir Felix bestfriend"

I'm really bored and tired but I need to finish this things before going to Felix to ask something about where will I live and my clothes and etc.

"Yes, Sir?"

He shouted at me. Relax Astrid.

"Sir what is the problem?"

"Just come here now!"

I immediately go to the room of complainant. It was near to felix office I was scared because its my first time to entertain angry person except tita beatrice.

"S-sir"

"Get inside" he said.

He doesn't have a shirt and he's wearing a towel to cover his manly. What the hell!

"Sir just tell whag is wrong"

He grab my arm "Just get inside!"

I pulled my arm back. "Sir I can't get inside while you are wearing a towel only"

He walk towards me doesn't show any care who will be going to saw us. I used my arms to prevent him getting on me.

"S-Sir I'll call the owner" I said but he didn't let me.

He get my arm and try to pulled me in and I did hold onto the edge of the door for me not to get in.

"Let me go!!" I shouted.

"You'll be like this I promised" he said and grin.

"Help!" Felix hear me up please.

I'm really scared now what would I do? please! I'm begging here but no one will hear me. I closed my eyes and tears fell on my cheeks I'm hoping felix to be here.

"Please sir let me go" I begged him.

I was surprised when suddenly grabbed my waist and put me away to the man who trying to do something bad at me. I saw Reagan punched the man. I stopped him from doing that before anything will happen.

"Stop please!" I hold her arm.

He was very huffy. "I will kill you bastard!"

He immediately left without looking at me. I feel sorry about him but he deserves that he is a bastard and jerk!

I went to felix's office to explain what happen earlier when I enter his office I saw raegan inside looking far away and his eyebrows met.

"Ah-- felix I"

Felix run towards me and hold my face. "Are you okay?"

He looked frightened. "Reagan told me what happen"

"I'm okay felix I was just scared earlier that's why I didn't do anything"

Reagan still look angry and he wasn't looking at us.

"Is he okay?"

"Yes, broken hearted" felix said. "Her bride doesn't show up just like you" he continued.

"You are married?" Suddenly reagan asked.

Oh s**t! He should not know about my wedding but for sure felix already told it to him.

"Yes bro, I bumped into her she was wearing a wedding gown"

Do i have a choice? seems like reagan was really interested about my story.

I sigh. "I was the one who runaway" I said.

"Because I don't know him my tita beatrice forced me to marry him she said that man can give everything what I want"

"You don't know him right? Why you didn't wait for him?" Reagan asked.

He showed interest in his face while listening to me.

"I want a freedom Sir" I said

I gave my attention to felix. "Where will I stay?"

"In my house" he directly said.

"There are apartment for your employees Felix"

"What is your problem Sir Reagan!"

He think I will took advantage of felix kindness to me? He is really a jerk!

"I'm just saying the truth"

"Yes you are saying the truth you are insulting me"

"I am not--"

"Whooops! Stop it there bro, Elysse you two looked intensed" felix said.

"I'll talked to you later" I said and give a glared to Reagan.

I'm already outside when I feel relieved I didn't seemed to breathe inside. That arrogant jerk make my mood bad I know he is insulting me he would have been quite.

"What happened Elysse?" Jade asked.

I just let him feel what happened by giving her a bored looked I don't want to talk when I'm angry it makes more irritated and I swear my whole day will be bad.

"I didn't get you Elysse"

How many times would I breathe deeply before saying anything.

"I'll tell you later Jade I'm busy now"

"Okay"

She continue cleaning the Lobby. I'm checking the latest checkins and checkouts and updated what the customers wants. I heard my phone rang.

"It was ringing many times I don't want to answer it" Gella said my partneron morning shift.

"Thank you" and answer the call.

"Bella"

"How are you? Sorry to disturb you I I just wanted to ask if you are okay thefe" bella said.

I saw felix and Reagan in the elavator coming out.

"I'm okay, I'm sorry I need.to hang this up my boss is here"

"Okay bye" she said.

I didn't look at them not until they stopped in front of me.

"Until what time your duty?" Felix asked.

I look at Reagan. "3 pm, but don't fetch I'm going to stay where it should be I'm your employee and you are boss" I said.

"Okay if that what you've wanted"

I definitely choose to stay in your house but this arrogant jerk will always insult me and besides I'm here for work and not for anyone.
