“I’m here on business, so I thought I’d stop by for a visit,” Brian said as he took Alessa in.
After a brief introduction, Alessa knew that Curtis was Brian's mother's old housekeeper, who had lived here to look after the house for almost his entire life.
It was obvious that Brian was fond of the old housekeeper. He didn’t treat Curtis the same as he treated other servants.
Maybe because Curtis cared for him when he was young, sick, and feeble here, so he respected him very much.
"Hello," said Alessa sweetly.
Curtis was stunned to hear the voice of a girl. “Who is that?”
Alessa was afraid that Brian would say anything strange in front of the old man. "Curtis, I'm Alessa Schultz, Mr. Sterling's secretary. I’m here on business with Mr. Sterling,” she rushed to the front and replied.
