Aaron’s POV
"Sierra?" I heard from behind us. When I looked in the direction of the call, I saw a man and a woman standing side by side looking at Sierra with confusion and surprise, but also anger, which confused me and angered Cole. The woman had dark curly hair that was half hidden under a large hat. Her brown eyes glittered with questions as she stared Sierra down, like she was seeing a ghost. The man had his mouth slightly agape, as he too stared with questions burning in his hazel blue eyes.
"Who the he** are they, and why are they staring at our mate like that?" Cole asked. "That woman looks like she wants to hug her and slap her at the same time!"
