My eyes scanned the holding area while waiting for my name to be called. A couple of people were sitting with me, and they were all waiting for their appointment time.
I saw a couple come in and sit next to me. The lady had a protruding tummy while the guy, I assumed her husband, smilingly stared at her and asked if she wanted to drink water. The lady nodded, and her husband quickly gave her a bottle. She took a sip before giving it back to him, mouthing her thanks. The guy smiled and gave her a peck on the forehead.
It was such a sweet gesture that gave a knot in my stomach. I could see Kyle doing the same thing with me. He loved kissing my forehead and hair, which was one of the favorite moments I really liked from him.
