Closing the door, I decided to go back to bed and rest. Gladly, I felt much better compared to yesterday and the days before. There was no vomiting though I dry heaved from time to time.
“Wakey…pwey…” I heard a tiny voice whisper, “Wakey…” he said before placing a kiss on my nose. I opened my eyes and saw a little boy smiling and staring at me. I knew it was the same boy from this morning right then and there.
“Hey…” I beamed and extended my hand to touch his rosy cheek. His appearance rang a bell in my head, but I couldn’t wrap my thoughts around it.
