The following day, I woke up early and prepared myself to work and help with the household chores. Even though Amanda said I didn’t need to, I would still do it. I might be a visitor, but I couldn’t be just a lazy person in the house.
After freshening up, I wore my own clothes that Almira had already washed. My jeans were stretchable, and I felt comfier with my sweatshirt and t-shirt underneath.
I loved the dresses Amanda provided me, but they were too small for me, especially for my tummy. I had probably used them if I wasn’t pregnant or showing.
“You’re early, Elisha! Good morning!” Almira greeted me as I went to the kitchen.
“Good morning!” I smiled at Almira, “Yes! I slept early last night,”
“Oh, yes. Like Gideon! Sam was surprised to see him on their bed last night!”
