I joined Sam and Gideon to dip in the sea the following day. The water was clear and exceptionally blue while the sunshine gleamed onto the surface, making a slight green undertone. The sun was up but the thick white clouds hid us from the direct sunlight.
This was the first time we allowed Gideon to stay longer in the water. We tried going to the pool before, but he ended up getting sick.
“Do you love the water, Gideon?” Sam asked while I was holding Gideon in the water. The little boy cheekily laughed every time the waves crashed and hit us.
“Yes, mommy. Didion love!” Gideon answered his mom. Sam was sitting by the seashore, watching over.
“That’s great, my love,” Sam beamed, “Do you want to go and swim now, Skylar?” she asked.
I shook my head. “No. Maybe later. Let me enjoy this
