I had just finished taking a shower and was in my pajamas when I heard a knock on my bedroom door. After having our sumptuous dinner, Sammy walked me into the guest room next to his bedroom.
“Come in!” I answered, placing my phone back on the bedside table.
I was waiting for Sophie’s message. Sam gave me her number, and I called her right before I went up here. Sophie said she would catch the early flight tomorrow and go straight to the Owens’ mansion.
Yelena also came back from her duties at Kyle’s house. She was delighted to see me. I promised her that we would talk tomorrow.
“Hey…” It was Sam with Gideon.
“Ishaa…” Gideon giggled as he ran to my bed and quickly climbed up. I helped and took him in my arms as he straddled my legs.
