Avalon’s P.O.V

I pulled myself off the sofa, finally calming down with him being nowhere near me, only took an hour. I headed through to my bed, feeling exhausted, it has been a strange night for sure. I made myself comfortable phone in hand, debating whether I should text him like he asked or quit while I am head. I ran my thumb over my bottom lip causing me to moan as I remember the feeling of his lips against mine, I could still feel them. As I was debating what to do my phone beeped, signalling a text. I had a feeling who it was before I even looked at it, when I did I realises I was right, it was Landon.

Landon: I am assuming you are still awake since I have not heard from you?

I rolled my eyes as I read the text, what is this guy’s deal?

Avalon: yes I am still awake

Landon: it is late should you not be sleeping? You need to rest Avalon, not enough sleep is not good for you

Avalon: I am going to sleep soon. I am already in bed

Landon: I am glad to hear that. I am too, do you wanna know what I am doing?

I was not sure if I did cause God only knows what he Is doing.

Avalon: um...I dunno do I?

Landon: oh you dirty minded girl, I am not doing what you think, well not yet anyway

I felt my cheeks heat and that was only with his text. I am glad I was not face to face with him or I would be ten times worse

Avalon: I don’t know what you mean. I have a very clean mind

Landon: Oh you won’t have for much longer trust me. As I was saying, what am I doing? I am thinking about you.

Why is he thinking about me? I am sure he has better things to think about.

Avalon: why?

Landon: I thought I had made myself clear on that Miss Avalon. I am thinking about you because I want you. And even though you will not admit it to me I know you are thinking about me too. You are thinking about the way my lips felt against yours...you are thinking about how you enjoyed my touch on you, aren't you?

Was I that obvious to him? Did I make it obvious how much I wanted him?

Avalon: yes to all of those questions. Am I that obvious to you?

Landon: I am very good at reading people and their body language. Now rest. I will see you tomorrow night. Goodnight Miss Avalon x

Avalon: Goodnight Landon see you tomorrow x

I sighed, sitting my phone on the bed side table and making myself comfortable again. I closed my eyes, trying to send myself to sleep but Landon was in my head and I was struggling. It is gonna be a long night.

I woke with my phone ringing. I groaned, checking the time and it read 8am, I only got to sleep three hours ago. I answered my phone without even looking at it

“What?” I hissed annoyed

“Excuse me?” I heard someone reply sounding even more annoyed at me

“Um…sorry. You woke me up.” I groaned, running my fingers through my hair

“I told you too go to sleep Avalon when we spoke.” He said sighing

“I tried but I couldn’t.” I said

“Why?” he asked

“Dunno. Had a lot on my mind.” I said

I was not gonna tell him he was the reason why I never got to sleep.

“I will be over in ten minutes with coffee.” He said before hanging up

Ten minutes? That does not give me any time to get ready. I can’t have him seeing me like this, he would soon lose his interest in me and I would not blame him. I jumped out of bed, rushing to the bathroom, having a quick wash and fixing my hair. I pulled on jeans and a hoodie, that would need to do, well never had a chance anyway cause there was a knock at my door. I took a few deep breaths before heading towards the door and opening it.

“Here.” He said holding a very large cup of coffee to me

“Thank you.” I smiled, taking it from him

He walked straight in without me even inviting him that never surprised me. He started walking around my apartment, disappearing into my bedroom. Who does that? I headed in after him to find him looking around before making his way over to my messy bed. He stopped turning to face me

“Do you not make your bed?” he asked

“Usually but considering I only rolled out of it ten minutes ago I never really had time.” I said

He never said anything after that instead he sat down on my bed, jumping up and down on it a little. I giggled, watching him. What is he doing?

“This won’t do. You need a new bed. I will order one and get it sent to you by the end of day.” he said

“What? No. I am not letting you buy me a bed.” I said surprised

He wants to buy me a bed? Is he for real?

Landon stood from the bed, coming over to me, standing in front of me, pulling me into him

“Another thing you need to know Avalon. We do this, I pay for everything and that is not debatable. If I think you need anything I will buy it for you it.” he said

“Do you want me to feel like a prostitute?” I said, the words slipping out of my mouth before I realise what I was saying.

I see his full face change. He looked annoyed…pissed off even. He closed his eyes over, taking a few deep breaths before opening them again.

“Why would you even say something like that? What do you take me for?” he snapped at me

“That was how it sounded.” I said

I knew I was making things worse, annoying him more but I was only being honest with him.

“That is not what it is like AT ALL Avalon. I take care of what is mine and if you agree to this then you will be mine.” he said

“I…I…I.” I started to say, not finishing

“Maybe this is a bad idea. Maybe it would be best if we never continued with this especially if that is what you think of me. I don’t think you are cut out for this after all.” He said

I never had a chance to answer before he started walking away from me. I followed him out of my room, finding him at the front door about to open it. I was not sure what my next move should be. Do I stop him? Do I let him go? Before I could decide what to do he walked out, closing the front door behind him. I stood there shocked and disappointed. That was it? He was done with me because I said one stupid thing? Maybe it is for the best after all cause he is right I don’t know if I would be cut out for what he expected from me.
