The week we spent in Maldives passed quickly. We soon boarded the plane back to Seattle.
Back at the Lord Hill, our pack members, led by Bert, surprised both Dylan and me with a welcome party.
“We know that there will be a long day ahead of us and our pack. It won't always be rainbow and sunshine,” I said to the microphone as they required me to say something to the crowd.
I glanced at my mate. Dylan smiled, and then he offered me his hand, which I held.
“But we will remain strong and get through everything together. I will wholeheartedly serve the pack as your Luna, and be a source of strength to our Alpha,” I said.
All of the pack members clapped their hands, some even screamed as their way of cheering me, which made me chuckle.
