Chapter 8 It was time to make the move. A month had passed since the attack on the ‘L’ platform. Since that awful night, Hunter could honestly say his life had been good and his journey out of grief over losing Nana somewhat easier. He had Jay to thank for that, who had showered him with attention and devotion, seeing to it he was seldom alone. The two had taken in plays at the Steppenwolf and the Goodman, eaten nearly every kind of cuisine on the planet, visited art museums and little out-of-the-way galleries in Andersonville, watched countless movies on the couch at home, and flirted with the idea of—as Hunter began to think of anal s*x—going all the way.
