I hated hearing how Mia's brother spoke of me. I mean, he wasn't wrong. Im not a good guy. I haven't been for some time. I just didn't want Mia to think of me like that. Not anymore. She is a good friend and she expected better from me. As much as i wanted to punch Dean, i held back. I wanted to show Mia i was trying to be a better man. I just didn't understand why i wanted her to see that side so badly. I never did tell Mia what i had done. I felt like that would just prove Dean right, and now i was too embarrassed to tell her.
