Jordan's POV
Alpha Sam and i headed out towards the woods. We went by foot in hopes that we didn't miss anything. After hours of searching and coming up empty, i was getting frustrated. I could tell Alpha Sam was feeling the same way. He always and i mean always keeps his emotions in check, and right now, he was struggling more than ever. He had already lost his mate. He didn't deserve to lose his daughter to. I was thinking the worst.
Alpha Sam froze in place, dragging his fingers through his hair. "I dont understand where she would have gone. Im not catching any scents. I knew i upset her. I just didn't think i upset her enough that she would take off that far into the woods."
I was confused now. "Why was she upset?"
He put his head down, cleary ashamed. "I finally told her the truth
