Rosie's POV
We headed down the elevator, and Heidi and a few girls were waiting at the bottom.
Why does her voice always sound like nails on a chalkboard? I can't be the only one who feels this way. "Liam, we were just waiting for you. Did you want to head over to the game room with us or over to the theater? I figured you could invite a few friends."
She was meaning the other ranked members. You could just tell. It wasn't very subtle.
"Sorry, Heidi. I'm taking Rosie to see the wildflowers. Maybe another time."
"Excuse me? Just the two of you?"
"Yeah, just the two of us. It seems you could use another coffee anyway."
