Iris POV I wanted to run away but I was rooted to my spot. I wanted to protest, and I wanted to scream and yell at what had happened to me. I wanted to do so many things, and my mind wanted to do so many things, but my body was nodding, agreeing with Arkadi´s suggestion. Hopelessness invaded my body. Somehow, despite what my will wanted, something held me in place, and, unable to resist, I agreed with her. I walked out of the dining room, Dom and Mat staring at me. I could see the concern in their eyes. And I wanted to yell for them to help me, but my voice was muted. Arkadi followed me and then Mom. I sighed because I knew that whatever was Arkadi´s intent, nothing grave would happen, at least not in front of my mother. We made our way to another sitting room, a parlor that my m
