Lena was close to finding out about our secrets. I had warned Eric against sending me stuff without heads-ups first. I always tell him to make sure he speaks to me beforehand before dropping something in my inbox. Thank goodness, Lena didn't press the issue further and then Eric and I were able to make up that call so she won't suspect anything more. However, that doesn't mean mistakes like this won't happen again.
"Evans, you said I have a lunch meeting with the CEO of Asteco Links here at the hotel, right?" I asked as I stepped inside the office with Evans hot on my nail.
He scrolled through the iPad in his hands. "Yes, Chairman. By 2:30 PM." He explained.
"Alright. Please make the necessary preparations. And I will be going around the hotel in fifteen minutes."
