Lena The first thing I was greeted with as I stepped inside the house was the aroma of food coming from the kitchen. I knew right then that it was Martha. She popped her head out of the kitchen. “You’re finally back!” She seemed excited. “Yes, Martha. Didn’t know you’d be coming.” She squeezed her face. “I have to. The house missed your presence. And George wouldn’t stop reminding me to come.” I marched forward towards the dining where she was setting the table. “Just say you missed me.
