The lady in front of the Ferris wheel was taking tickets. There wasn’t much of a line, so they didn’t have to wait long. Artemis handed the woman their tickets and said something to her, that she didn’t exactly hear. The woman waited until the ride had stopped, before opening the tiny door for the bucket on the ride. Artemis helped Ember on first, and then followed in behind. It was suitable for up to six people, but the two of them sat on the same side.
The ride started to move, they slowly made their way up high. Ember looked out and watched as people on the ground, gradually got smaller. Once their bucket had reached the top, the ride stopped. Artemis moved onto the floor and by the time that Ember turned to look at him, he was kneeling there with a ring in full view.
“What’s this?”
