I started walking excitedly as the pedestrian signal lit up. I was walking behind Crane and Nate, and I had to keep my walking pace in check to not overtake them. I guess, I wasn’t only excited, I was nervous too.
“You’re emitting an enormous aura of excitement and fear,” Zayasu caught up with me on the sidewalk. “Fear is what I’d actually feel if I was wounded and entering a building filled with vampires but what’s the excitement for?”
I shook my head. “I don’t know.”
“Well, I’ll make a portal, if you wanna make an escape anytime,” He grinned. “They won’t be able to catch us.”
