Pondering, Zayasu recklessly threw the water bottle at me. I used my newly learned power to stop it from hitting my face. I wasn’t stunned by his action. He had already done this a hundred times earlier in our training sessions. The first time, I’d gone home with bruised lips. Now, this was starting to get old.
“Nice try,” I said sarcastically. “That could’ve given me a concussion.”
