“What movie did you watch?” Mom asked.
I tapped my foot on the floor, thinking about the message I had gotten fifteen minutes ago. I was clearly having an anxiety attack right now but I couldn’t let mom ask me more questions. I was on my way to sprint to Zayasu’s house when mom had decided to start this interrogation. Telling her or showing her the message was out of the question or anyone’s imagination.
“Movie?” I replied, caught off-guard. “What movie?”
“At the sleepover,” She said nonchalantly. “What movie did you girls watch?”
