I sat there staring into space. Who could that caller be? Nobody knows about my past other than Luke. I don't think Luke would play tricks on me, and it's not like him.
I was still trying to wrap my mind around the situation when I heard screaming and chanting outside my door. Then my door opened, and Luke walked in, followed by Becky. My eyes grew wide, and I abruptly stood up.
" Luke! I mean, Mr. Davies, what are you doing here?" I panicked when I saw him. Him, showing up in my office, won't do good in our relationship.
" I am here to pick up my girlfriend for lunch." He answered, rounded my table, and kissed me. I heard everyone gasped, including me. This crazy guy announced to the world that I am his girlfriend. So much for staying low.
