WE don't have a March break in the Philippines because our school vacation starts by the end of that month. Back home, the school year begins in June and ends in March. Whereas in Canada, it starts in the fall -- September up until June. I think it has to do with the four seasons. The summertime only lasts two months here, and if they start the school year at that time, that's not going to be a lot of fun.
"Do you have March break, too or something similar in the Philippines?" asked Quinn.
I shooked my head. "It's different back home. We start our classes in June, which is the typhoon season and end in March. So we don't have March break because our official vacation starts. We have Christmas break, though. Same as here," I said to him.
