At his words, Mira didn't try to hide her smirk as she thought about what was next. Because she was too busy scheming, she didn't notice the strange, malicious look that passed through Jason's eye.
The meeting was concluded with Jason ordering his beta to give some speech to the others and reassure them that it was nothing serious.
Mira had nothing else to do there so she made a move to leave but Jason called her back the moment she neared the door.
"Where are you going?"
Mira ached a brow at him wondering what he was on about "Is there anything you need from me husband, if not have some work to deal with"
"Is that work... More important than I am? I'm in this state Mira, aren't you suppose to stay and take care of me?"
The council members nodded in agreement when they heard this
