“How did you end up hanging out with my brother?” Kaspen asked after I left Nick’s room.
“I needed to know why he lied because not understanding bothered me too much,” I answered as I stared at his room door. “He explained everything. Can I ask why you didn't pass on being alpha? Was it important to you too?” I looked up at him. I didn’t blame Kaspen, Nick wasn’t entitled to be alpha like he grew up believing.
