Kaspen’s POV
Yue didn’t know what she wanted but her body did. It wanted me. When she grabbed my arm and got on her tiptoes while her eyes closed I knew what she wanted to happen next.
“No,” I whispered despite how much I wanted her.
“What?” She opened her eyes and got off her tiptoes.
I stared down at her cute face then explained, “If we start I’m not going to want to stop. You made it clear this morning that I’m nothing to you.” She was sending a lot of mixed signals so I had to be direct.
I was so patient because she couldn’t feel the mate bond and she wasn’t exposed to this sort of thing growing up.
