CAROLINE I'd had my share of shitty days. I mean, I was my father's favorite goddamn killer - the fact that most of my days sucked was precisely the reason I was an alcoholic. But that one ... oh, that one topped them all, I thought as, arm in arm with my fiancè and mate, I walked down the stairs with the best fake smile that had ever been sported in the history of fake smiles, looking at the crowd that was gathered there to celebrate something that should've never been celebrated.
